If you had to define Luxury, how would you define it? How would you paint an image of a person living in Luxury?
Someone with a Private jet, couple yachts, couple mega mansions, a couple billion or hundred million in the bank account, fine dining, beautiful women, the most comfortable bed.
… In short, Total Comfort.
But is this true Luxury?
If I told you that being born a Human Being is worth a Trillion Dollars, would you believe me?
Just being born a Human Being! That’s it!
Thought is a true Luxury.
Allow me to explain. Let us take the life situation of a Human that has earned the riches to live a life of Luxury. In this example I will exclude the ones born in generational wealth because they didn’t do much to build the wealth they were born in. Instead, let’s use a Rags to Riches story.
A Human being is born in poverty, works hard to get out of the life situation they’re born in, make a lot of bad choices, some good ones, some big ones, play the high risk high reward game, make money, make more money, make a ridonkulous amount of money, and finally afford the luxuries of life.
In a similar way, evolution has worked over hundreds of millions of years to make simple life, to complex life, from life in water evolving to move on to the land, amphibians, reptiles, insects, mammals, and in turn make Human Beings who have literally taken over the planet.
We have in a sense, Arrived!
We have no natural predators, no problem with food production, no issues with safety, no shortage of pleasures or indulging in some of the most twisted interests of the mind.
No other animal on earth has that luxury.
The fact that you can think what you want…
Do what you want…
Be what you want…
Exploit whoever you want…
Even though I believe real freedom is a myth and we are all just slaves to our minds carrying out its bidding, in a case where shit needed to get done by hook or crook, it just gets done. Plain and Simple.
We have that freedom, we have that choice.
WE HAVE THAT TRUE LUXURY!
The only threat human beings have on this planet is ourselves. Everything else is either conquered, turned into food or extinct.
Knowing this, will you realize the true luxury you have?
Or forget and go about your pursuit of more paper money and bodily comforts?
